The amazing thing is when you watch the slow motion replay, you can see the ball actually stops rotating after it bounces. The writing on the ball doesnt move. It just floats past the bat with no backspin at all. I think thats why it swings after it bounces. You see that sometimes in soccer when the striker hits the ball and with no backspin and it bends alot. Clearly there is some aerodynamic phenomenon happening. Absolutely unplayable.
